Use & Maintenance
First Use
- Fill 1/3 of the pan with oil and heat gently for 5 minutes
- Pour out the oil and wipe the surface thoroughly with paper towel
- Repeat every few weeks for optimal seasoning
Before Every Use (Routine Conditioning)
- Spread a small amount of oil across the interior and heat briefly
- Discard excess oil and begin cooking
Cleaning
- Use warm water and a soft sponge or brush
- Avoid soap or soaking; dry immediately after washing
- Lightly oil before storage to preserve seasoning
- If food is burnt, simmer water in the pan to loosen debris, then clean
