Timeless Japanese Craftsmanship Meets Functional Elegance
Since 1951, Fujita Metal MFG has been crafting premium metalware, blending innovation and tradition to create cookware that brings joy and convenience to everyday life. The JIU Pot exemplifies this philosophy with its minimalist design featuring a wide rim that highlights the natural beauty of iron, doubling as an elegant serving bowl perfect for any dining table.
Forged from 1.6 mm thick mill scale steel using a specialized metal spin forming process and quenched at over 700°C, each pot is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Yamagata, Japan. The result is a rust-resistant, stick-resistant, and highly durable iron pot ready to deliver flavorful, juicy cooking.
The patent-pending solid wood handle (sold separately), crafted from a single piece in Tendo-City, attaches easily and safely to the wide rim from any direction, staying clear of the cooking area for ease of use.
Compatible with all stovetops including induction and gas flame, the JIU Pot cleans easily with just hot water and a scrubbing brush—no detergent required. Over time, the pot gains character and better performance as its iron surface darkens and absorbs oil.
