Its square shape (13.5cm x 13.5cm x 3cm) fits toast better than the round counterpart while retaining the same compact size.

Beyond bread, this versatile iron pan excels at cooking juicy meats and vegetables with the same quality and flavor as the classic round JIU pans.

The pan is crafted from hard-tempered iron, making it compatible with all stovetops including induction hobs and gas flames. It features the signature wide rim designed to attach the innovative, patent-pending solid wood handle (sold separately). This handle slides on and off smoothly with one hand, made from a single piece of wood from Tendo City, Yamagata, ensuring ease of use and safety during cooking.

Please note that the handle is made of wood and should be removed when cooking over open flames or bonfires to avoid damage.
