Manufactured in Seki, Japan, the Yasuo Black 167mm Santoku knife blends traditional Japanese craftsmanship with modern kitchen performance. Created to a custom design by the Japanese Knife Collective (JKC), this knife features a 167mm Santoku blade with a VG10 stainless steel core, layered with 69 layers of stunning Damascus steel.
The cold-forged blade offers exceptional toughness and a hardness rating of 61±1 HRC. Its double-bevelled, half tang construction delivers superb balance and control. The matte Damascus pattern fades into a darker grey edge, highlighting the VG10 core’s durability and sharpness. The natural black Pakkawood handle is beautifully finished for durability, comfort, and a secure grip.
