Designed in collaboration with Japanese Knife Company (JKC), the Yasuo Black 210mm Yanagiba is handcrafted in Seki, Japan—renowned for its centuries-old knife-making tradition. This refined slicing knife is ideal for preparing sashimi, sushi, and other delicate proteins with precision and grace.
The 69-layer Damascus blade features a VG10 stainless steel core, offering exceptional hardness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance. The cold-forged construction ensures lasting durability, while the matte Damascus finish and dark grey edge create a striking, modern appearance.
Unlike traditional single-bevel Yanagiba, this model is double-bevelled, making it more versatile and easier to use for right- and left-handed chefs. The black Pakkawood handle is beautifully shaped, moisture-resistant, and provides a balanced, comfortable grip.
